John C. Hafen (1856-1910) Utah and Indiana – John Hafen was primarily a painter of Utah scenes. Early in his artistic career he spent time in Paris studying. Many of his paintings are inspired by landscapes found in Utah and Indiana, where he moved late in life and continued his painting career.
